POLICIES AND OTHER SERVICES

Pricing

Sales tax and 18% service charge will be added to invoice. Staffing not included in price per person, staffing charges listed below.  Prices listed per person are average charges subject to change for type of caterings  or market flocculation of product.  Please email us for exact pricing for your event.  A company picnic on paper plates will be less per person than a formal wedding reception.  If staffing is not required but delivery is requested  please e-mail or call for pricing. 

Staffing

We are happy to provide staffing but client will be billed separately if staffing is required. Staffing is billed at $30.00 per hour per staff with a four hour minimum. Loading and travel time will be counted as billed staff time. Number of staff depends on guest count and level of service requested.

Beverages

We have the perfect wines, champagnes and beers for any party.  Please let us know your beverage needs and we’ll price out product and service. We also offer full bar catering, please let us know if you would like pricing.

Rentals

Testa Catering would be happy to coordinate rentals. We own plates and flatware,  our pricing is very competitive.   If you prefer to use disposable plates and utensils and would like us to provide cost is .75 cents per person.

Travel

All prices are for the events in the immediate Santa Maria Valley.  If an event is more than 5 miles outside the City of Santa Maria, a reasonable travel charge may be applied depending on size and budget of your event.  Charges will be based on the number of people and the amount of equipment to be transported.

Set-up

Coordination with the rental company and layout of buffets are included in the price per person.  Any other minor set-up that we are able to do on arrival, which is typically one half hour before service time, we are happy to accommodate.   If rentals tables and chairs are being used set-up of rentals and setting of tables is not included by either the rental company or our standard price per person.  We will be happy to do set up charge, set up will be billed at our normal staff rate of $30.00 per hour per person.

Tear down

Plates, flatware, glasses and all food area clean up is charged as staffing hours.  If crew is to stay on after cake cutting etc... for clean up and restacking of tables and chairs and final clean up there will be a charge based on labor cost.  Restacking of tables and chairs is required by the rental company before pickup.  Final busing and breakdown of tables will be billed at our normal staff rate of $30.00 per hour per person.

Payment

If you decide to book a catering event, please fax or  email a signed confirmation and mail a $500 deposit.  A final guaranteed guest count must be phoned to my office no later than five days prior to the event.  Final guest count needs to include all guests that will be eating (e.g. musicians, photographers, etc).  You will be billed on your estimated guest count.  Payment is due three days prior to the day of the event.  Charges for additional services and products that are billed on a usage will be due by the end of the event.
